Why Our New AWS Advanced Tier Status is a Win for Our Customers and Our People

Today, we are proud to share a significant milestone in that journey — Zchwantech is officially an AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner. 

What This Achievement Means to Us 

Becoming an Advanced Tier Partner isn’t just about a new badge on our website. It is a validation of the rigorous standards we hold ourselves to. For our team, it represents years of disciplined learning, governance, and real-world delivery. For our clients, it serves as a guarantee that their mission-critical systems are in the hands of a partner with proven technical depth and operational maturity. 

As our Chairman, Dato’ Seow Gim Shen, noted:

Investing in the Best — The “Golden Jacket” Milestone 

We believe that a company’s capability is defined by its people. While Zchwantech now holds over 105 collective AWS certifications, we are particularly proud to celebrate a rare individual achievement within our ranks that sets a new benchmark for AWS certification in Malaysia. 

Kenneth Oh, our Manager of Cloud & Infrastructure, has been awarded the AWS Golden Jacket. This is a globally rare distinction given to those who have mastered 12 levels of AWS certification, including every available AWS professional certification. In the landscape of AWS certification in Malaysia, fewer than 20 individuals outside of AWS hold this honor. 

Kenneth’s journey—culminating in earning multiple certifications within a four-month sprint in 2025—reflects the culture we foster at Zchwantech: one of relentless improvements and leadership by example.
